The task of the linguistic mediator is to help the comprehension and communication between individuals, organizations or institutions belonging to foreign countries of a different culture. The linguistic mediator translates, both in writing and orally, as required, and offers cultural consultancy and intermediation.
The mediator tries to gain in-depth insight into the context where they will act: subjects involved, issues etc.
In addition to the language, it is fundamental to have knowledge of the institutions and culture of the country of origin of the other person in order to accompany them in producing he bureaucratic documentation.
The mediator provides information and advice to the subjects involved on certain cultural characteristics that can help communication.

No linguistic certification is necessary: the teacher will ascertain the level before the start of the course.
The Diploma in Linguistic Mediation is awarded on passing the final examination (examination not compulsory)
Those who do not sit the examination will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance
